The effects on Tokyo from a nuclear disaster
On June 22, 2005 Japan Offspring Fund is arranging a seminar with experts on nuclear safety. The seminar will focus on safety issues and recent revelations regarding the Hamaoka nuclear reactors. Speakers include Konagaya Minoru, Stop Hamaoka Network, Shizuoka prefecture.

Earthquakes do happen frequently in Japan. Yet the Japanese media seems reluctant to report about this topic. I used google and found a website that lists serious seismic activity in Shizuoka prefecture:
